The N.V. is one of the biggest consultancy firms within the Caribbean region. The company provides clients with a total design, engineering and project management package, including architectural services. Activity fields include:
Structural engineering, civil engineering, architecture, environmental engineering, real estate appraisals, physical planning and urbanization etc.

Job description:
The intern will be working in the civil engineering department. They will accompany and assist the engineers during the drafting and implementation of projects within the office and in the field. Projects include road building and subdivision projects, global rainwater drainage masterplan, sewage pump stations and capacity, housing projects in steep hill slopes where tropical storms pose specific problems for infrastructural projects etc.



Requirements:
The student must be representative, well motivated, have a positive attitude and be able to work independently. He/ she must also be able to take initiative. The student must have a good command of the English and Dutch languages. Other languages are a pré.

* Bijzonderheden:
Office hours are from Monday – Friday from 7:30 am –12:00 pm and from 13:30- 17:00.
During the internship period the student will stay at an apartment arranged for by the company (together with another intern). The company will cover the expenses for the apartment.
